Vikon introduces new products for Q1 - 2001.

Product and service offerings are expanding.

3/15/2001 -- Vikon Technologies a manufacturer of microcontroller products, embedded system products, software, and development tools is introducing new product lines for the first quarter of 2001.

Vikon Technologies will be expanding it's support of Atmel and Microchip PIC SBC and microcontrollers with the addition of several new products including some based on the Microchip: PIC16F628, PIC18Cxx & PIC18Fxx families and Atmel: ATMega 163 and ATTiny. Vikon is also adding several new prototyping boards for PIC devices as well as assembled SBCs with prototyping areas.

New and updated device programmers and development tools will be added during the year.

Vikon also develops software products and development tools. PC and software products from Vikon are currently in use at several of the Fortune 500 Corporations, government facilities and educational institutions.

All products are distributed direct and through a dealer network. Target customers include engineers, product designers, research scientists, academic users and hobbyists.
