SimmStick Experimenter / Development Breadboard The SIMMBread Board provides a simple
and efficient method for developing SIMMStickTM applications.
The board includes a power supply, RS-232 interface, and many other common
components useful for microcontroller development. SIMMStick processor
boards can be connected any of the 4 SIMM sockets and custom user circuits
can be developed in the bread board area. The SIMMBread Board is ideal for
both educational purposes and for small circuit testing and rapid
prototyping. The SIMMBread Board also offesr support of incircuit
programming for several different types of microcontrollers ISP
programmers.

Bread Board Prototyping Area (3.25" x 2.25")
Four SimmSocket Bus
Two 1x30 Female SimmSocket's for bread board connection.
Several prototyping components are available via a female
header for bread board connection including two push button switches, 3
LED's, and power.
The PCB mounts in a 4.7" x 4.7" by 2.2" deep
polystyrene enclosure which forms a solid mounting base.
The standard 5V power supply, DB-9 + RS232 Transceiver and
a reset switch are provided. A set of jumpers allows configuration of the
RS232 and power for the different board types.
A programming header is provided for in-circuit programming
of Atmel AVR micros with a STK200/Kanda AVR Programmer, PICmicro's via a 5
pin ISP connector, and Scenix SX micro's with a SX-KEY / SX-Blitz connector.
The programmers are not included but the ISP connectors are provided on the
board for easy connection.
A 2.5mm power jack is provided for an unregulated DC
wall power transformer or a battery pack (power supply not included) The
battery can be stored in the case and notch is provided in the PCB for
routing the battery pack wires.
